The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (“ECTA”). These laws ensure consumer rights, fair business practices, and secure online transactions.

Eligibility to Purchase

To use our website and make purchases, you must:

Products and Availability

Products are subject to availability of stock, upon order delivery depends on whether or not suppliers have adequate stock to supply quantity both big and small respectfully .Backorder will be placed on bought items that have been ordered and paid for and will be shipped a.s.a.p  from available date of receiving them.

 

5.1 Product Descriptions

 We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our products. However, we do not guarantee that product descriptions or images are error-free. Slight variations may occur.

 

5.2 Stock and Availability

All products are subject to availability. If a product is out of stock after you place an order, we will notify you and provide a refund or alternative options .

 

5.3 Products and Warranty

Products and Warranty policies:

Warranty of Products is subject to manufacturers

warranty only and defective goods must have notification within 30 calendar Days of Purchase Date with, The Security Locker Online Store.

Rechargeable items (spotlights, headlamps, emergency lights) have no warranty, including factory-charged batteries.

Police telescopic batons have no warranty if misused or improperly handled. They are restricted for self-defense purposes and only available to buyers 18 years or older.

Wheel clamps are sold for retail purposes only, and the Security Locker is not liable for misuse or damage when applied to vehicles.

Product guarantees are based on the manufacturer’s policy, typically no more than six months.

Motorola two-way radios are not for commercial or security use, only for light-duty applications like hiking and events.

Electrical adapters (travel or surge protectors) have no guarantee if overloaded, as it can cause fire hazards.

Money counters have a warranty if used properly; misuse or damage during transportation is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty within 30 days.

Fire extinguishers must be checked regularly at local hardware stores for compliance; this service is not offered by the Security Locker.

Headlamp and emergency light LEDs have a non-replaceable lifespan.

Product returns within 30 days are allowed for malfunction if returned with all accessories and the original invoice.

Stun guns are restricted for use by individuals 18years and older and must only be used in self-defense situations. Improper use, such as overcharging or using on objects not intended, voids the warranty.

Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing

 All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. However, the price at checkout is final.

6.2 Payment

 We accept the following payment methods:

Credit/Debit Cards

C.O.D  at The Security Lockers head office only

EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

Payment must be received in full before dispatching products.

 

6.3 Errors in Pricing

 In the event of an error in pricing, we will notify you immediately and give you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a refund.

 

Delivery and Shipping

7.1 Delivery Timeframes

 

 Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location and external factors. The Security Locker is not liable for delays caused by couriers or unforeseen circumstances.

 

7.2 Shipping Costs

  Shipping costs will be calculated once the product is weighed by the courier company and the delivery costs will be calculated according to the distance the products needed to be shipped and the customer will be informed via email and telephonicallyof this cost.

 

7.3 Risk of Loss

 Ownership of products passes to you upon delivery. The Security Locker is not responsible for loss or damage after delivery.

 Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

8.1 Returns and Refunds

 You may cancel and return non-defective products within 30 days of receiving them, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

 Shipping costs for returns are borne by the customer unless the product is defective.

 

8.2 Defective Products

 If a product is defective, you may request a repair, replacement, or refund within 30days of purchase, as per our terms and conditions. The Security Locker reserves the right to inspect the product before honoring the claim.

 

8.3 Non-Returnable Items

 Certain items, such as custom or personalized orders, may not be eligible for return unless defective.

 

Privacy and Data Protection

 We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of your information for transactional and marketing purposes.
